So, not much going on lately with me at all. Hence the lack of bloggage. All I have been doing lately is playing WoW, watching some movies, and some TV shows. So I will discuss those.

Movies:

Quantum Of Solace: FANTASTIC! Not quite as good as Casino Royale, but still awesome none the less. I heard some people complaining about the lack of gadgets, but they are dumb. The whole point of re-inventing Bond was to get away from the ridiculous out of this world stuff. They have done a fantastic job revitalizing 007 and I can't wait for more.

Role Models: I honestly didn't expect much from this movie, but Chris and I were bored. Surprisingly, it was one of the most hilarious movies I have seen in years. A little crude at times, but wow! It was so funny! Paul Rudd is the man. On a side note, the projector was messed up when it started and I had to go fix it. They couldn't figure it out. Who should have paid me more now?!?!!? Ryan 1 AMC 0. :p

TV Shows:

House: This show is dying off. Been a pretty good season, but it's getting old. I will keep watching for now though.

Fringe: LOVE this show! Best new show in a good while. It is like a modern day X-Files. If you like sci-fi you should watch it.

Bones: Great show, this one never fails to entertain.

True Blood: Season just ended and I really enjoyed it. Sarah says it followed book one pretty good so she liked it too.

Dexter: Probably my favorite series. Saw the first 2 seasons on DVD and never looked back. This season is getting amazingly good too.

The end of my small social life round 2

So World of Warcraft: Wrath of The Lich King comes out this week. The second expansion pack for the game. World of Warcraft stole 3 years of my life when it came out. I played it nearly every day for those 3 years. It is the drug of the gaming world and I pay them 13 dollars a month to feed me more. I have been off of WoW for probably 4 months. I was going to start playing Warhammer, but that didn't go as I predicted. Something was missing from it. So anyways, gonna get Lich King and get back into WoW. So it's been nice knowing everyone. Have a good 3 years from now. I'll see you soon.

On an unrelated note, I forgot my sisters birthday yesterday....yeah....oops. I knew it was in November, but well, yeah....oops again. So I should probably send her an Itunes gift card or something. Otherwise I will never hear then end of it.

Vacation!

So I have returned from Myrtle Beach. I don't have a ton of pictures, but I will link some of them. It was a lot of fun. It rained on the day we were gonna go putt putt and to the alligator zoo thing, so we couldn't do that, but it was still fun. So without further ado:

On a quick side note. I am sad that Obama won. BUT, he is the president soon and I will try to give him the respect a president deserves. I just hope he doesn't tax me to death. The end

Post Numero Viente-Cinco

Before you say it, yes I am aware I probably mispelled the spanish in the title. And yes, I know that post is not in spanish. Three years of spanish and i all I learned was "Buenas Noches". Oh and I can call your mom a stupid dog. :p Anyways, I was considering something special for my 25th post, but I think I am to lazy. Plus my employer would probably frown upon me staring at my monitor for an hour trying to think of 25 things to say about myself that are interesting. Anyways.....maybe I will do a 25 thing some other time when I am not feeling so lazy.

So Tech lost this weekend....major suck. Way to lose to an unranked crappy team Tech!! Just when you get rated you go and suck! /sigh My Steelers and Falcons also lost. In fact you know what, it was a really terrible weekend for my teams. I blame Obama. (Just getting used to saying it for when he gets elected and screws up everything)

On a bright note, my wife and I are still going to Myrtle Beach this weekend. And we got fancy new nav systems for the cars which are all kinds of awesome. If I wasn't going on the trip I had tickets to the GA Tech game this weekend versus the Seminoles. I am sad to miss it, but oh well.

All hail France....

Because that is who we will be in a few short years thanks to the government and Obama. Today we are trying to socialize banks and if the liberals have their way we will have national health care. FANTASTIC! I love stale economies with no job growth and and no economic growth!! HOORAY!!!

Liberals piss me off so bad. Why should the government have to give us anything!! The only people that deserve anything are the ones that do not have a means to move themselves up in the world (People with disabilities, etc.) Hell even some of them do more for the world than the lazy bastards that want everything for nothing.

I hear Canada is nice this time of year, anyone else hear good things? Prepare for four years of an idiot in office. At least maybe he will prove that democrats only know how to take the people on "main street's" money and not give it back. Not gonna raise taxes my ass. Unfortunately even his mistakes will not change the liberals of the world though, they are just sheep that need a good sheep dog to get them in line.

A Vacation!

So my wife and I are going to go to Myrtle Beach in November. Now you are thinking, why would you go to the beach in November?!?!? Have you seen us? We are pale, not sun people. We are going to stay with my grandparents who live like 10 minutes from the beach. I haven't been there in years so it should be fun. Plus it's cheap with free room and board. I will take pictures and post them sometime.

This is our warm up vacation for the real one we are taking next year though. We are going to spend a week in Disney World next year sometime once we save up enough money. Gonna go all out, hotel in the park, all park pass, etc. It should be awesome since I haven't been to Disney since I was like 10.

Anyways, that's all about my vacations coming up.

Oh how the "Tides" have turned

The Alabama tides that is. Mwhahahahaha. Enjoy not being top 10 UGA!!! I mean, wow, 31 unanswered points in the first half. Maybe you should have just played real dogs. They may have done better.

On a serious note, "gas crisis" = suck. I hate waiting in lines for gas. However I may get to work at home the rest of the week which is awesome. I love the company I work for. Anyways, that's it. A nice short blog.

Hi Ho Hi Ho....

Its off to four day work weeks I go! Yeah! That's right, starting next week I am working Monday-Thursday 8-6. I get 3 day weekends every week now. It's freaking amazing. That's really about all. Still playing Warhammer Online and I ordered the Limited Edition of Tales of Vesperia which is also going to be sweet. So everything is good. Well except for UGA being pushed up to number two. The polls are such bull crap. Sure they have not lost a game, but they have played the WORST teams in the league. And they just barely skimmed by South Carolina. It's ridiculous. So my motto for this weekend is "GO BAMA!" Burn in hell UGA. :)

WAGGHHHH!!!!

So Warhammer Online is out today!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOT! Oh yeah, collector's edition here I come. Been playing a few days already though due to the head start bonus. Chris and I are both about level 12. We crush Order face. GO DESTRUCTION!!! Umm...that's really all I got lately. Not anything else going on to blog about. So yeah.

The Hadron Collider

I don't know if you know about this thing. But its a 17 mile long tube that is going to recreate the Big Bang in order to show scientists how the universe was created. Its a 10 billion dollar project and they are turning it on on Wednesday. Go there for more info.

I personally think the collider is bad ass. It's going to allow us to learn more than ever about how matter is created and who knows what that can lead to. But, people are freaking out about it because there is a small chance it will create some black holes and suck Earth into it. But it's a very very very small chance. They say that even if it creates a black hole it would be so tiny that it would dissipate before causing any damage. So....yeah! Thoughts?

My Holiday Weekend

So my holiday weekend I did NOTHING!!! WOOT! Okay, that's kind of a lie. Sarah and I went and bought some new sheets and pillows. She also went to the aquarium with her sister on Saturday, but I didn't go. I don't care for going out much, maybe I am just lazy, who knows.

I also have continued to do little workouts every day which is amazing. I think it has been almost 2 weeks now. I am trying to get my abs back. I used to be a rock, now I am not so much. In fact I have gained almost 10 pounds in the last 4 months or so. Still only 146 though. :p

My second real long weekend!

As you know I worked in a movie theater for more years than I wish to mention here. So the concept of a "weekend" or "holiday" was foreign to me until a few months ago. In fact, I lost a lot of the love I had for holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas due to always working my ass off on those days. And for all you people that went to the theater on major holidays: I HOPE YOU ROT! That is what I have always wanted to scream in the middle of the lobby. People get so angry and then used to yell at me because it was busy! I'm sorry...I'm working instead of being with my family. See, I get angry just thinking about it.

Back to the point of this post. It's about to be a three day weekend and I am about to enjoy the hell out of it. :) It is an amazing feeling knowing that I get major holiday's off now. I swore to myself long ago though that if I ever got out of the theater that I would NEVER EVER go there on a holiday. If I do, it will be to simply say hey to my friends or bring them something nice while they work their butts off.

So next time you are enjoying your holiday and think about seeing a movie please think about the people that work in a place that is open 365 days a year and never get to have a holiday off.

My Computer Is Done! And Stuff...

So I finished building my new computer this weekend and it is all kinds of win. I told Newegg to just give me my money back and I went and bought the power supply from MicroCenter. I will post some pics of the computer later, but its all blue with blue LCDs on the fans so it glows blue inside and you can see it from the window on the side of the case. Its beautiful. :)

I got to play Warhammer Online all day Sunday (literally for like 7 hours, wife wasn't thrilled with me). It was amazing! Best game in years. I played with a couple of my friends and we took part in a keep siege with catapults and everything. I am gonna get years of enjoyment from this game when it releases later in September.

Work is taking us bowling on Wednesday. We were gonna go rafting on the Chatahoochee, but the weather forced us to change plans. :( But, you gotta love DE for taking us out at least. This place rules!

My NewEgg Woes continue

I don't have anything else going on so I am updating on my power supply fiasco. So I had to ship the wrong one to California instead of Tennessee where it came from. They are paying for GROUND shipping....that's right, GROUND. Its due to arrive sometime next Tuesday or Wednesday. And apparently they will not ship me my new one until that one arrives back. Now here is where it gets fun. I am getting conflicting stories from their reps now. The first lady told me as soon as they checked their inventory and verified that they messed up they would overnight me the correct part. Fine, whats a day or two. NOW, another lady has told me that they will just refund my money back and make me purchase it again. I'm sorry, what?...how am I supposed to get the sale price and the free overnight shipping I was promised if you just refund my money.

Needless to say I replied in a not so nice manner saying that no one knew what they were talking about and to forward it to a hopefully more competent supervisor. If I don't get my desired result after this I am going to call and believe me when I tell you they don't want me to call. It's going to be like when I yelled at a ComCast supervisor all over again. (A long and brutal story of the worst cable company on the face of the earth)

I have been in the customer service industry and I know what is good and bad service. This is bad service without a doubt. The second they got the UPS tracking number of my returned package they should have turned around and shipped my correct item. This is completely their mess up and I can't believe I am having to wait almost two weeks for them to resolve it.

I can sorta understand their policy, because they are trying to prevent scams on their items, but I listed the model number on the box for them, and what I ordered. I promptly shipped it back to them and I have tried to be nice. Enough is enough though. They will rue the day! RUE IT I TELL YOU!

The Bitch Post

I am just gonna whine a lot in this post...and yes I would like some crackers to go with it before you ask! :) So, as some of you know...well probably everyone that reads my blog....I have been ordering parts to build my new computer. Well, I finished ordering everything a couple days ago. So yesterday I get my power supply, but I open the box and whats this...that's not what I ordered. It has what I ordered on the invoice, but no, not in the box. So now I have to wait like 5 more days for them to straighten everything out and get me the right part. So this happened yesterday, then this morning my dog apparently went to the bathroom in the middle of the night on the carpet and I slept wrong on my neck...so its been a real crappy day.

Okay, done whining. On a good note I should be getting the rest of my computer parts today besides the power supply so I can pretty much build the whole thing, just can't turn it on. And because I am an uber geek I will post pics in my next blog with me building it. I know you are excited, I can feel it.

Oh, and let us all hope and pray that UGA gets crushed in their first football game. Gotta love college football starting again soon!

I'm Getting Glasses

I had nothing to post about today so you get to hear about how I am getting old and losing my vision. I went to the eye doctor Saturday and they said I could get the very lowest possible prescription glasses. So technically I don't really need them, but what the heck, insurance paid for most of it anyways. I have never owned glasses in my life so it should be interesting. And since I needed to be styling in my new glasses I got the Oakley brand. :p I will post pictures of me in my new glasses once I get them. Hopefully my vision will not get any worse anytime soon. My dad didn't really need stronger glasses till his mid 40s, so I hope that I get the same luck!

A Good Week

So this has turned out to be a good week. I got into the closed beta test for Warhammer online (sorry Chris) and the United States is kicking ass in the Olympics. Did you see the French lose. I laughed very hard at the trash talking SILVER medalists. :p

But the highlight of the week is clearly my Warhammer beta. I will talk about it more once the NDA lifts. I don't want to break the rules and get myself kicked out. Oh, I also saw Wall-E this weekend! It was amazing!!! I love Pixar. I rate Wall-E just below The Incredibles which is my favorite Pixar movie. Pixar really makes you love Wall-E which is incredible considering there is no dialogue for 3/4 of the movie. So if you haven't seen it yet I highly recommend it.

Cool Picture

So I have this 1000 dollar Nikon Digital SLR that I rarely use. I mean what the heck is wrong with me? I still don't know why I bought such a thing, but whatever. I took a cool picture this weekend with it of the sky right at sunset and with a storm. It looks like the sky is on fire. So without further ado:




So I think its cool looking, but I don't necessarily think I take great photos. Other than that it was an uneventful and relaxing weekend. Oh and by the way....WAR is coming!!!! I can't wait for this game! :)

My Geek Post

So I am going to make this a super geeky post.

First of all, my computer has been delayed for a few weeks, but whatever. It's going to be the computer to defeat all other computers. Seriously, it will stomp them down and only use 1/3 of its power to do so.

Here comes the super geeky part. WAR is coming!!!!! That's right, Warhammer Online is finally almost done and the geek in me couldn't be happier. I have already decided I will be playing a Chaos Chosen. Its basically a heavily armored killing machine. It matches me perfectly...... :p Chris and a few of my other friends are going to be playing too, so it shall be good times!

27 Years Down!

So its my birthday! Yeah! Actually I don't care that much. Somewhere along the line I really just lost interest in birthdays. Do I care at all? Yeah sorta, its nice to get some free stuff(That makes me sound bad, but still), but all in all its just another day for me now.

I had a good year though, got a new job, celebrated my 2 year wedding anniversary, got my wife a shiny new Mazda 3, and umm....I guess that's about it. But that's a good year.

Anyways, this year should be good as well. I am in the process of getting a new computer, which is awesome, and Sarah and I are planning to go to Disney World sometime in 2009. I'm sure there are some other things, but I will just post about those as they arise.

So here comes year 27.....oh my gosh, I am almost 30........

Dog Attack

So I was walking my dogs yesterday when a chow/golden stray ran at us and attacked me and Simon. Simon was yelping and trying to pull away while I tried to grab the other dog. I finally got a clear shot at the other dog and kicked with all my might into its rib cage. It then left back to the yard it had been in. Simon took a little beating, but he is okay. He sorta has a black eye and a road burn looking scrape on his back right side. He can see fine though and seems okay.

I went to the people's house where the dog was at and asked if it was their dog and they said no. So I called the Barrow County Sheriff office and they got me in touch with Animal Control and I had it taken away.

Needless to say it was an exciting day. I also changed my hairstyle for the first time in like 26 years. I will post a picture of it later if I get a chance.

Randomness

So I was reading through the blogs today and saw Chris' one about his 10 year reunion. For some reason I suddenly remembered something very funny, well at least funny to me and one other person that shall remain un-named. Although said person will leave a comment I am sure. The thing I remembered is the name Sr. Espanol. Thats enough said about that. haha. If you don't get it then don't ask.

The other randomness I have is that I began ordering parts for my new computer I am building today. Got the case, RAM, and a very nice DVD burner. Don't tell my wife, lol. The case is a dark blue with blue LED lights. Its pretty.

More Details On Stuff

So let me break this down into list form to make it all nice and organized:

1. Got Married: I got married to my beautiful wife a little over 2 years ago. I will try to post a couple pics of the wedding if anyone is interested.
2. A couple months after we got married we got our first dog, Simon. He is a little Westie. About a year after that we rescued Ms. Perriwinkle. She is some kind of mix, I honestly can't tell you what. I will put some pics up of them later too.
3. About a year after we got married we decided we couldn't live in an apartment anymore because it was to small. So we got a great realtor (E-mail me if you want her info, she is seriously the best realtor ever) and then we got a great house. Its in barrow county which is a bit out there, but its awesome.
4. And to top off everything I just got a new job as a Data Analyst at a company called Digital Envoy. Chris works here too and actually helped me to get the job. The company is amazing and I couldn't ask for a better job.

Yep, so thats it in a nutshell. So things are going great! I will post some pics of things at a later time.

Wow, I haven't blogged in forever. I am at work so I will keep this short and write in more detail later. For those that have not sen me in forever, I am married, have 2 dogs, and a house. I will fill in details later. That's all. :)
